Having grown up in LA, a city constantly under the threat of drought, it's always blown my mind that freshwater is often invisible. We turn on our taps and let it flow. And yet, water is the reason life exists on this planet. Its absence means ours. So longtime collabowriter Shirley Miller and I asked, "What if climate change made freshwater the most visible thing in America? Who would win and who would lose in this blue gold rush?" Our first pilot together, DRY landed us in the top 1% of the Screencraft TV Pilot Competition in 2023 out of 3,400 entries, acceptance to the renowned Stowe Story Labs, and several accolades that ignite us still.
